Hi Guys and Gals!!!!

 Just thought I should post a quick message to let you all know where I'm at right now - not dead for a start!! Wow, what a relief that is!

No...for all of my non facebook friends and twitter followers (shame on you....) I am in fact, working on the shiny, new, more awesome Artemiss website! You heard right - awesome. More so than it already is. Of course it's possible! You nay-sayers, you....

Uhhhh, as we know I am not a web designer. Basically my technical skills are limited by my google search results. Hence, my 2 week quick web facelift has dragged out into several months of painstaking guess work and web coding. But the end is near!!! Artemiss v.3 is almost complete so stay tuned and get excited people! It's even gonna have a seriously gorgeous gallery. And a fancy twitter feed! HELL YEAH.

Isn't cleaning up fun children?! Does't it just make you squeal with delight?? Nope. Me neither. But every once in a while I suppose it has to be done, and my room is no exception. Unfortunately I just adore holding on to stupid little momentos I pick up through life and my "just a couple of hours cleanup" turns into a week-long rediscovery of awesome knick-knacks I didn't even remember keeping (or why I kept them! I'm sure they would be useful one day...) and reminiscing of old school memories.

You know, it's funny - I was always told to appreciate my time at school "...because once you get to my age, time starts passing by faster and you'll wish you were back there...". Of course like most know-it-all kids I scoffed at it all, who would ever want to come back to school??! I tell you what though - it wasn't even that long ago and I'm already beginning to understand what they meant. Of course I still don't classify as old enough to ever admit that to the people who once told me so (I am a Gen Y! People expect me to be defiant!)....but between you and me....I get it now. I've spent days going through my "treasures" - some of which is just utter crap, but some is quality stuff!

I even flicked through some of my old sketchbooks and thought I'd revive some of the old, half-done, not-quite-finished-yet works that have never even seen the light of day since I drew them. Here's a small glimpse at my "Pre Artemiss" days....

I may even re-do or finish some of them! Because believe me, there's plenty more where they came from! But until then, it's off to bed for me. I think I can feel a severe case of Mondayitis coming on....

Oh yeah! We hit a few speedbumps along the way, but the correct envelopes eventually got delivered safe-and-sound, which means....

Type. Whatever. If you've got any word suggestions plz feel free to post them in the comments - it's very likely I've forgotten to add some good ones to my "to do" list! (currently I'm still working through "omg", "kthx", "O hai !", "Orly?" and of course, "lol".)

In particular I thought I'd point out this one, I <3 U because, well, it is almost Valentines day and I guess it's really quite appropriate for that! Or if you've done something wrong and you're trying to cover for it before someone finds out. Very useful for that too...
