No, it's not your eyes - you're seeing right. TWO zodiac pictures in one day. Sometimes I'm just awesome. Sudden burst of creative energy hit me after finishing Cancer and lo and behold, another ocean themed picture! Aquarius, the water bearer. Ok, so she's not a water bearer in the usual cliche` sense that we so often see Aquarians portrayed - but she is a water breather, and that's close enough for me! Oh, and thanks to everyone who just endured my terrible indecisiveness about hair colour on facebook - your input is always incredibly helpful! Aqua was the final decision, as it were...
...and now I am all sketched out for one Friday, I'm off to bed to endure nightmares of Scorpio - which is quickly becoming the bane of my existance. I mean, seriously - how do you make a scorpion cute??! Goodnight All !!!!

"Up on the shore they slave away, under the sea we play all day!". Well said Sebastian (come on people, it's The Little Mermaid!) - I'm moving to the ocean. While I'm packing my waterproof undies and bubble helmet I thought I'd show you the latest in the Zodiac series (believe it or not, I am still doing it! There's just been a few...delays...). Cancer - The Crab. See? Don't let it be said I never give you guys anything - I give you all crabs! Oh...errr....what I mean to say is.... oh, never mind! In other news I am/will be slowly re-organising and updating the online store over the next week or so (depending on how well it all goes!) so there may be days when it's completely offline or just doing some crazy things. It's all me, working behind the scenes. Just thought you'd like a heads up! But after the chaos when it's all done, I promise you clear organisation and even a few new card designs! If it all goes really smoothly there might even be whole new products! But that's just speculation at the moment...it all depends on wether the construction of said products is actually as easy as it appears in my head. Probably not. lol. Have an awesome weekend my lovelies!

It's getting late, I bet you thought I was never going to get around to posting the Balingup photos didn't you!! Well unfortunately I am most certainly going to make you endure an overly long blog entry full of cheesy happy snaps. Lucky you. So...Balingup. Well it's a quaint little town, emphasis on the word little there. One ATM in the whole place, no mobile phone reception and petrol that must be lined with gold dust judging by the prices! But even with all those added extras, I still fell in love with the place. Everything is green, lush and beautiful and the people were just extra nice which was rather comforting after a 3 and a half hour journey there!! I actually thought my foot had died and fallen off during the drive there. *note to self: buy an automatic car with cruise control!* Day one was the Medieval Carnivale I've been raving on about over the past few weeks so it's impossible for you to not to know about it BUT if you somehow manged to miss my ramble, visit the official website to get a better idea of what it's all about! www.balingupmedievalcarnivale.com.au/ Everybody dresses up for the occassion (well, almost everybody. All of those with an ounce of sanity about them remained in the modern era) so I just had to get something fancy and new to wear. Picked up this awesome corset online for an absolute bargain price - it sucked me in so tight I actually thought my head was going to explode at one point. True story. So after loosening the corset a bit around my ribcage and thus allowing oxygen to enter my system once more, my sister and I headed of to the Carnivale! This is a picture of us in all of our glorious medieval goodness. There were heaps of cool little market stalls, a million and one tempting and unusual gifts/products to buy (most of which we came home with...), knights doing battle, maidens singing and dancing and a great big dragon!! Of course I was greatly distressed to discover that they were actually going to burn the dragon at the end of the night for entertainment. Heathens. One highlight of the day: actually being able to say I was chatted up by a real knight in shining armour. Now that doesn't happen everyday!!! Day two was a bit more....energetic than the first. We stayed in the most gorgeous log cabin tucked away deep in the woodlands. The landlady had told us about this stunning waterfall (and I quote!) "just across the road and up the hill". Take note people, this is all LIES. Well, if I had been listening properly and taken the correct instructions the outcome may have been different, but I digress. I met a friend from work who was also staying in Balingup for the weekend, Alice - and after a random burst of energy (and obviously some form of brain malfunction) we decided that it would be a really good idea to stroll up this "hill"....and I use the term hill very loosely....to get some photos of the falls. That was pretty much the beginning of the end. After struggling up the first 20 metres or so alarm bells were still not ringing and we continued up and ever higher on the side of this mountain, because let's be honest, nothing that steep can be classed as a hill. To cut a long story short, half hour into this trek there were still no signs of an form of water other than that that was forming the thick, sticky mud we were now clambering through almost on all fours. Needless to say, we gave up and we were very tired and very dirty by the time we had slid back down most of the way. You'd think I'd learned my lesson as someone with such physical prowess that I would rather gnaw off my own leg than approach a tredmill, but after all that effort I was not going home without seeing the falls!!! So I asked the landlady for directions again and this time, with open ears, was informed that if we had simply walked around the corner we would have found a clearly marked, easy walking track that led us to the falls. Just around the corner. Unbelievable. All in all though I had an awesome time and I will be going back again next year! Oh, and for anyone insterested I got my corset online from Killer Threads www.killer-threads.net/ here, in Australia. Thanks for remaining focused enough to get to the end of this post without slipping into a coma!

I hope you're hungry 'coz we've blown out the candles and cut the cake! Wait....I'm jumping ahead of myself here. Let me start from the beginning..... Hello again everyone!!! I've missed you all dearly. The Balingup Medieval Carnivale was freakin' awesome! I had a fantastic time down South, just me and Teagan (lil' sis) in a little wood cabin in the middle of nowhere....although we did manage to scare ourselves a few times! I've only just got around to uploading the photos on the computer, so I'll be posting them for you to see over the weekend (yes, I know it's been a week! Quit your whining already...). In the meantime there's been something else that was uber special that I need to share with you! No it's not cake....but it is a Birthday! Today is Teagan's 19th birthday, so in honour of this momentous occassion I am going to totally embarrass her by sticking her photo on my website without her permission. Ahhhh, the joys of being the older sister. As you can see, although I take great pride in commiting acts such as these, I did join in with spoiling her rotten today so that really does make up for it. I got her a couple of bits and pieces, but the gift I am most proud of is my cookies!!! Yes, I cooked again! And nobody died after eating them!!! It truly was a win-win situation. Teagan is an absolute nature fanatic (yeah, watch your back David Attenborough....) so it was only natural that an animal theme was bestowed upon her gifts....hence, animal shaped cookies. I know, I rock. </ego> So all that can be said now is Happy Birthday Tiggs! Mwah!!!
PS: No, all of the stuff in the picture is not from me alone! I just gave some of it. Namely the awesome stuff. (kidding!!)

Hi Guys and Gals, Just a quick update to let you know that I will be away for a long weekend to celebrate the Balingup Medieval Carnivale, and to generally just have a good time! (Who am I kidding? I just wanna dress up!!!) In light of this, I have closed the webshop temporarily so that I don't end up taking your money and not delivering the goods in time. You're still welcome to browse around it if you like, you will just be unable to make any purchases. But fear not good sirs and ladies - I will make my triumphant return on the 25th day of the good month of August! Expect photos. Lots of them. Fare-thee-well peasants.
